The artists payed regular visits to the factory and after engaging in some informal conversation with the workers, set up his easel and painted directly from life, recording his impressions while being exposed to everybody's eyes during his practice. AFter having finished his residence, he decided to exhibit the works on the outside walls of the workshop, leaving them exposed to weather and time. Some went lost, some were destroyed by the weather, some were brought home by factory workers and/or people from the staff. Artist's statement Simple words, simply say Author: Yu Jing I walked into the factory, I don't and won't live here, I just watched them, talked to them, share some time together. To describe what i witnessed I recorded the blink of an eye. I walked, I didn't bring anything. Production method: Sketch in the factory site, the work hanging in the outdoor wind and rain sun.

L' artiste a effectué des visites régulières à l'usine et, après avoir engagé une conversation informelle avec les ouvriers, a installé son chevalet et a peint directement d'après nature, enregistrant ses impressions tout en étant exposé aux yeux de tout le monde pendant sa pratique. Après avoir terminé sa résidence, il décide d'exposer les œuvres sur les murs extérieurs de l'atelier, les laissant exposées aux intempéries et au temps. Certains se sont perdus, d'autres ont été détruits par les intempéries, d'autres ont été ramenés à la maison par des ouvriers d'usine et/ou des membres du personnel. Déclaration de l'artiste Des mots simples, dites simplement Auteur : Yu Jing Je suis entré dans l'usine, je ne vis pas et ne vivrai pas ici, je les ai juste regardés, leur ai parlé, partagé du temps ensemble. Pour décrire ce dont j'ai été témoin, j'ai enregistré un clin d'œil. J'ai marché, je n'ai rien apporté. Méthode de production : Croquis sur le site de l'usine, le travail suspendu au vent extérieur et au soleil de pluie.
