Jeanne Launey worked for few months at Bernard Controls China. She showed interest in the activity of the department and during few conversations in the WORK/LIVE process, she felt the need to express some personal doubts about life, work and their difficult balance. Here the notes we collected from her, together with the image she wanted to turn into a conceptual artwork, that of hot water from the shower to stop her thoughts and doubts for a while. "I Want to shut down I build my position the way it is but then now at just 26 years old, I am not sure if it is right and what is the meaning; I have an image: hot water from the shower over my head; as long as the hot water runs the thoughts stop.But afterwards they come back. The shower becomes a place of intimacy and reflection. I can see things more clearly. I can establish a different perspective, more calm and distanced. I keep asking myself --How does the body feel at work?---" Jeanne's self-created video has been exhibited at Cache 缓存 798, in the group-show WAITING FOR WORK 待工

Elle s'est montrée intéressée par l'activité du département et lors de quelques conversations dans le processus WORK/LIVE, elle a ressenti le besoin d'exprimer quelques doutes personnels sur la vie, le travail et leur difficile équilibre. Voici les notes que nous avons recueillies auprès d'elle, ainsi que l'image qu'elle a voulu transformer en œuvre d'art conceptuelle, celle de l'eau chaude de la douche pour arrêter un moment ses pensées et ses doutes. "Je veux fermer, je construis ma position telle qu'elle est mais maintenant à seulement 26 ans, je ne sais pas si c'est juste et quel est le sens; j'ai une image: l'eau chaude de la douche sur ma tête ; tant que l'eau chaude coule, les pensées s'arrêtent. Mais après elles reviennent. La douche devient un lieu d'intimité et de réflexion.
